As a guide, Natural Stone is used most commonly in fireplace openings by way of having an Inner and Outer Hearth. We can have this cut to any shape and size usually in 20mm or 30 mm thickness if you prefer.

Glass hearths are frequently used on freestanding stoves, particularly in extensions, homes with modern decor and when the customer perhaps has a wooden floor and wish to retain the appearance around the stove.
